Hey! We read this poem in class last Wednesday. This is Keone Carreira's dramatic interpretation of several Pidgin pieces by Joe Balaz. This was done for Pidgin Literature class at HPU with Lee Tonouchi.
This blog is a space for you to rave and rant about the literature we are reading for Eng 257B, as well as other topics we happen to visit during our journey in this course. The blog does not replace class participation; I still want us to talk story in class. Hopefully the blog will enhance our understanding of the literature, our community, and Hawai`i.
